Job Summary

Manager of Attorney Resources responsible for high-level HR services for attorneys in US offices (notably DC and NY) and for immigration-related support. Drives onboarding/offboarding, performance and talent management, employee engagement, policy administration, and regulatory compliance; investigates and resolves employee relations issues; coordinates employment visas and permanent resident processes with outside counsel; maintains I-9 records and work-authorization reminders; supports new associate onboarding and bar admission processes; manages budgets, reporting, and HR initiatives within the DC office and across firm-wide initiatives; collaborates with Directors, Practice Group Management, and cross-functional teams to deliver excellent client service and a positive attorney experience. Proficiency in MS Office, strong written and verbal communication, confidentiality, and ability to work beyond standard hours as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • JD or Advanced degree in HR, business, or organizational development preferred
  • 5-10 years HR or professional development experience; law firm experience preferred
  • Ability to communicate with attorneys and all levels verbally and in writing
  • Integrity and confidentiality
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite and internet research/database skills
