Job Summary
Plan, execute, and evaluate the organization's annual giving program, including donor segmentation, moves management, targeted outreach, and stewardship strategies. Develop and manage a comprehensive annual fund strategy to meet defined revenue goals while leading the creation and production of all annual giving appeals across direct mail, email, and digital channels. Analyze donor data to measure campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements, then collaborate with communications and internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and meaningful volunteer/donor engagement. Research, write, and submit grant proposals to foundations, corporations, and government entities, while maintaining accurate donor records in the CRM system and reconciling gifts with finance. Monitor philanthropy trends to incorporate best practices into program strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 3–5 years of experience in fundraising, annual giving, or related development work
- Demonstrated success in managing giving programs or donor campaigns
- Strong written and verbal skills with experience in crafting appeals and grant proposals and communicating with donors
- Excellent project management abilities and attention to detail
- Proficiency with CRM systems and donor databases
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and inform strategy
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple deadlines, and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Commitment to the mission, values, and goals of the organization
