Manager of Annual Giving

Job Summary
Oversee and execute the annual giving program, including planning, implementation, and evaluation of donor campaigns to meet revenue goals. Develop donor segmentation and targeted solicitation plans; manage direct mail, email, digital, and year-end fundraising appeals; grow recurring giving and monthly donor programs; monitor retention, acquisition, reactivation, and upgrade metrics. Lead major gift pipeline development by qualifying prospective donors, coordinating donor meetings and stewardship opportunities, and preparing profiles and gift proposals. Coordinate corporate & foundation grants, oversee donor database management and reporting, and analyze fundraising data to improve efficiency and donor experience. Develop donor-centered fundraising and stewardship communications, external newsletters, and campaign materials; collaborate with communications teams to ensure brand consistency and effective donor engagement. Travel between offices and to other locations, with some evenings/weekends required; role based in an office setting in Schaumburg, IL.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressively responsible fundraising experience.
- Demonstrated success in annual giving, donor stewardship, fundraising campaigns, sponsorship development, and event fundraising.
- Experience using donor database/CRMs and fundraising analytics.
- Strong written communication and donor-centered storytelling skills.
- Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
- Knowledge of nonprofit fundraising best practices and donor lifecycle management.
