Job Summary
Design and drive a results-oriented annual giving strategy to grow donor participation and revenue for Houston Grand Opera; lead the full campaign lifecycle across acquisition, renewal, and upgrade, with real-time performance monitoring and agile adjustments; craft donor-centric appeals across direct response channels to drive acquisition and long-term loyalty; oversee production and timely delivery of communications across channels with tracking in Tessitura; serve as the primary contact for annual donors and collaborate with the Manager, Donor Experience to develop meaningful stewardship that strengthens retention and long-term pipeline growth; partner with research/analytics to segment and profile donors for smarter revenue growth across giving programs; coordinate with the Audiences team to integrate Annual Fund opportunities within subscription renewals; work with the Director of Philanthropy Operations to maintain segmentation standards, data integrity, and reporting; requires a Bachelor's degree with 2+ years in related fields and some night/weekend work; strong written and verbal communication, cross-department collaboration, and self-motivated, organized problem solving in a fast-paced nonprofit environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with two or more years of experience in direct response, marketing, philanthropy operations, or a related field.
- Must have demonstrated ability to implement and manage projects involving multiple departments.
- Requires proven excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Requires some night and weekend work around performances and events.
