Job Summary
Manager overseeing OCI engineering across Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, and Pune bases. Leads architecture and administration of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, including compute, storage, networking, and identity services across availability and fault domains. Drives monitoring, optimization, auto-scaling, and cost management (Universal Credits, resource analytics). Shapes disaster recovery and backup strategies with cross-region replication for high availability and data protection. Builds and maintains automation tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting tools to streamline infrastructure operations. Requires 10-13 years of IT experience with at least 5 years hands-on OCI experience; bachelor’s degree in CS/IT or related field. Base locations include Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, and Bengaluru with a hybrid/onsite working model implied by base locations. Technologies cited include OCI, Redhat, and Bash/PowerShell. Strong understanding of OCI architecture and administration is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field
- 10-13 years of overall IT experience with 5+ years of hands-on expertise in Oracle Cloud
- OCI Architecture & Administration
- Experience with Shell Scripting/ Redhat / Oracle design and implementation
- Monitor usage and optimize OCI services; manage auto-scaling; track Universal Credits consumption
- Design and manage backup strategies and DR plans; cross-region replication
- Automation & Scripting using PowerShell, Bash, or similar
