Job Summary
Prepare, manage, and control the budget while monitoring and analyzing variances. Direct employees to meet all mandatory Human Resource requirements and complete performance appraisals of staff members. Oversee processes to assure clinical competence of personnel and ensure quality compliance with accreditation standards. Participate in hospital and corporate committees and task forces, and request capital items. This role supports staffing and vendor management within a hospital environment to improve patient lives. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, two years of Operating Room experience, and five years of Nursing/Patient Care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Nursing/Patient Care
- 2 years of Operating Room experience
- 5 years Nursing/Patient Care
- Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board in state of practice
- Basic Life Support Program (BLS) - American Heart Association
- Licensure - Nursing Leadership Licensure within 36 months
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association
- TRAVEL IS REQUIRED: Up to 20%
Desired Qualifications
- Associates/RN Diploma For those hired on or before 1/1/2019
- BSN -Required within 3 years, any variation has to be approved by the System CNO
- 2 years Previous managerial experience with demonstrated leadership skills
- Unit Specific Certifications - Franciscan Alliance Required if required by unit
