Job Summary
Establish goals, activities, and measurement processes for population-specific nursing performance reports while facilitating unit council and staff meetings. Manage total departmental operations including coverage and scheduling resolution, ensuring compliance with hospital, state, and federal guidelines. Lead interdisciplinary work teams to enhance patient care outcomes, monitor throughput times, and integrate clinical, financial, and operational data to drive performance improvements. Anticipate and adjust human and material resources based on volume and acuity to meet budgetary targets and organizational goals. Maintain open communication lines with staff and customers, demonstrating effective service recovery and conflict management to sustain exceptional satisfaction levels.
Required Qualifications
- five years nursing experience in an acute care setting
- demonstrated abilities in leadership
- Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing
