Job Summary
Manage 24-hour nursing care delivery to a specific patient population in the Cardiothoracic/Vascular Operating Room while achieving quality clinical outcomes and maximizing resource utilization. Create a professional practice environment that aligns with Medical Center goals, fostering coworker engagement, patient satisfaction, and safe clinical outcomes. Implement elements of the Nursing Strategic Plan and analyze complex data from various information systems to support departmental performance. Requires a current RN license, three years of clinical experience with demonstrated leadership, and a Bachelor's degree (BSN preferred). Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Current RN Temporary Permit/RN license in the state of practice
- Minimum of three years clinical experience
- Demonstrated leadership ability
- Good interpersonal skills
- Ability to apply sound principles of management and supervision
- Proficiency in use of a personal computer
- Ability to analyze complex data from various information systems
