Manager - Nursing I, Children's Blood Disorders & Pediatric Rehabilitation, FT

Manage the 24-hour operations of the Children's Blood Disorders and Pediatric Rehabilitation unit, directing staff activities and ensuring quality patient care. Develop, implement, and interpret unit policies while scheduling personnel and overseeing a budget of 50 or fewer employees. Coordinate capital, operational, and personnel budgets in collaboration with the Director of Nursing, and prepare budget worksheets for approval. Supervise hiring, interviewing, evaluating, and performance planning for assigned staff, ensuring they possess appropriate education and training for pediatric populations. Monitor quality indicators using established benchmarks, develop unit goals and objectives, and implement long-term projects to meet patient needs.
