Job Summary
Nurse Manager leads the 24-hour nursing operations for the unit, directing and coordinating clinical activities, supervising nursing staff, and contributing to staff development and quality improvements. Responsible for annual budget administration in collaboration with the Director of Nursing, and for integrating evidence-based practice to sustain service excellence within a high-volume hospital setting. The role supports the Float Pool/2Main/4RN structure and oversees certification and compliance requirements while maintaining patient-centered care across units such as cardiovascular, neonatal, surgical, and critical care services.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing
- Current RN licensure in Florida
- BSN required
- Minimum of two (2) years of acute care experience
- Minimum of three (3) years progressive management experience
- Current BLS through American Heart Association
