Job Summary
Manager Nursing – Cath Lab at West Hospital leads and coordinates 24/7 operations in the Cath Lab, supervising clinical teams, partnering with physicians and interdisciplinary colleagues to set goals, monitor KPIs, and drive outcomes. Responsibilities include daily operational oversight, mentoring staff, promoting high reliability and safety, meeting productivity targets, and implementing strategic initiatives. Requires BSN (RN) and leadership experience; preferred MSN or health administration. Licensure in state (or compact), and familiarity with critical care certifications (PALS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC) are noted as applicable. Strong emphasis on collaboration, data-driven improvement, and regulatory/compliance knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
- 3 years minimum experience as a professional nurse with demonstrated leadership capabilities (required)
- 1 year experience in appropriate specialty area (preferred)
- Current RN license in state they are working or compact (required)
- BSN preferred for leadership roles
- Nurse leadership skills including collaboration, communication, and conflict resolution
