Job Summary
Manager-Nuclear Projects at Millstone leads the engineering project management for large capital nuclear projects, overseeing scope, schedule, and cost, negotiating high-dollar contracts, coordinating supplemental engineering firms, and interfacing with design, construction, operations, maintenance, outage planning, radiation protection, security, and training to ensure programs develop per NRC and QA requirements. The role emphasizes establishing processes, driving continuous improvement, and delivering on project objectives with demonstrated leadership in project management and communications. Nightshift coverage may be required during execution; PMP certification or SRO license is preferred. Education is a Bachelor's degree; 8+ years of directly related experience is expected.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years directly related experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
- PMP certification or SRO license (preferred)
- Proven leadership experience in project management
- Strong business acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to organize and manage human resources on large scale projects
- Ability to develop and implement strategic initiatives with direct business impact
- Ability to prepare, maintain and monitor group's budget
- Experience with NRC/quality assurance requirements (as applicable)
