Job Summary
Review Form 990 and 990-T returns, including the main form and 16 schedules, while assessing deadlines, extensions, penalties, and Tax Cuts and Jobs Act implications. Manage end-to-end tax compliance for non-profit organizations by auditing financials, identifying missing items, and ensuring accurate documentation. Guide junior and senior team members through training sessions, process improvements, and complex engagement management. Lead analysts in balancing workloads, conducting tax research, and driving strategy planning for US and India leadership. Maintain adherence to statutory timelines and manage staffing for new hires while fostering a collaborative, high-performance environment.
Required Qualifications
- Commerce Graduate/Postgraduate
- 7+ years in 990 or 990-T Non-profit tax
- EA or CPA
- Good communication and drafting skills
- Work-based demonstrated affinity in pursuing a career in customs matters
