Job Summary
Manages multiple or complex engineering projects aligned with NSI and NTI's involving multiple functions or sites. To lead a Business Unit wide multi-functional team which manages all phases of the NSI (New Source Introduction) process for component-sourcing projects. This position works with Engine Components & Thermal Systems (ECTS) Engineering team, Platform Engineering, Customer Service, Purchasing, Operations, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Business Services, PMO, PSLD, Reman, and Suppliers to plan and execute critical sourcing projects for 3500, C175, 3600 & Med Vee ECTS components. Responsibilities include coordinating with the businesses, sales, marketing, and platform groups to manage resources for each deliverable, overseeing project progress and costs, influencing project staffing, communicating with customers, process ownership of NSI workstreams, providing teaching and coaching for project leaders, maintaining guidance documentation, managing NSI portfolio and weekly updates, and leading NSI projects. Top candidates will have a bachelor’s degree with 10+ years of experience, strong leadership, and knowledge across multiple functional disciplines such as Supply Chain, Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Business Services. Additional emphasis on planning, product/service knowledge, and continuous improvement in quality management and effective communications are outlined as essential capabilities.
