Job Summary
Oversee day-to-day operations of Antonio's restaurant as General Manager leading the Pizzaiolo team, able to work at all front- and back-of-house stations, train and supervise Apprentice, Junior and Senior Pizzaiolos, and ensure each shift runs with operational excellence. Responsibilities include interviewing and assisting with staff selection, performance reviews and disciplinary coaching, opening/closing duties, cash handling and inventory, welcoming Guests, preparing ingredients per recipes while upholding food safety standards, maintaining clean work stations, and contributing to a positive guest experience. The role emphasizes cooking expertise, recruitment and training knowledge, strong communication, leadership, and adherence to food safety and cost controls, with a path for growth through the Pizzaiolo Career Path, and requires flexibility for up to 55 hours per week, including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of cooking standards, food preparation and recipe adherence
- Must be computer literate
- Knowledge of principles and procedures for recruitment, selection and training
- Flexibility to work up to 55 hours per week, rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Consent to background screening, including criminal, driving and drug screening
- Demonstrated ability to lead and manage your own team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Server Safe Certified or willing to go through internal SSC Class
- Must be 21+ years of age
