Job Summary
Lead with a safety mindset to ensure injury-free operations by championing safety procedures, training, and facility inspections. Oversee and develop warehouse associates through one-on-one coaching, performance reviews, and problem resolution while directing workforce productivity for accurate receiving, storage, and outbound loading. Manage personnel, interview new hires, and resolve disciplinary actions to drive engagement and retention. Monitor operational data such as mis-picks and productivity reports to correct behaviors and ensure shift rates are met. Maintain physical warehouse conditions and equipment safety, coordinate dock locations for inbound carriers, and ensure strict adherence to Master Sanitation Schedule and food safety protocols. Effectively schedule working shifts using planning tools and collaborate with operations management to identify inventory shrink and improve cost control.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse distribution
- Minimum of one year of experience overseeing a workforce
- Broad knowledge of warehouse operations, methods and procedures
- Strong leadership, communication and people development skills
- Familiarity with inventory control, OSHA, HACCP and other regulatory requirements
- Ability to interpret financial and operational data
- Basic computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office)
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to lift 1-10 lbs (Sedentary)

- Must be able to lift 21-50 lbs (Medium)
