Job Summary
Lead the Newbuilding Finance Team and own the multi‐billion-dollar Newbuilding budget, providing financial leadership and analytical support across the Newbuild & Innovation organization. Collaborate with project and operational leaders to manage project financials, risk, and opportunities, maintain effective financial processes and controls, and deliver timely, compliant financial reports. Responsibilities include budget monitoring and reporting with senior leadership, reviewing construction financial figures, preparing project plans and forecasts, partnering with executives on operating plans, ensuring compliance with FCPA, SOX controls, and UK Anti‐Bribery Act, maintaining project cost controls and monthly closings, supporting project managers on cost management, facilitating capital asset requests and ROI analyses, delivering ad-hoc financial analyses, and preparing presentations for special projects. Required skills include FP&A expertise, financial leadership, vendor evaluations, and strong communication to summarize insights for executives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance or in a technical field at a minimum or significant and recent direct experience in FP&A role
- Minimum 8-10 years financial management experience for a large corporation
- Positive attitude with demonstrated history of success in project analysis, tracking & implementation
- Good communication skills and good controllership mindset
- Ability to work closely with and provide direction to highly technical managers
