Job Summary
Lead the combined Network and Cybersecurity Engineering teams as a hands-on senior engineer and working manager. Provide day-to-day technical and operational leadership while directly configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing Cisco infrastructure, Check Point firewalls, and perimeter security platforms. Establish engineering standards, guide platform strategy, and coordinate incident response efforts for complex network and cybersecurity events. Mentor team members, oversee performance, and collaborate with IT leadership to align priorities and resources. Evaluate new technologies, manage budgets, and ensure alignment between infrastructure, security, and organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressively responsible hands-on experience in enterprise network engineering and/or cybersecurity engineering
- Significant experience working in a complex enterprise environment
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco network infrastructure, including switches, routers, routing, switching, and network troubleshooting
- Strong hands-on experience with Check Point firewalls, including configuration, troubleshooting, policy management, and maintenance
- Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating complex technical work across both infrastructure and security domains
- Experience in team leadership, supervision, or mentorship, whether formal or informal
- Demonstrated experience supporting or leading cybersecurity functions such as incident response, security engineering, monitoring, prevention, or security platform administration
- Cisco CCNP certification
- CISSP or equivalent cybersecurity certification
Desired Qualifications
- Equivalent advanced enterprise network engineering experience may be considered
- Additional Cisco certifications such as CCIE
- Candidates may be required to complete technical assessments
- Candidates may be required to provide certification verification where applicable
