Job Summary
Provide an excellent guest experience while ensuring great food is prepared and served. Manage inventory, money control systems, and business records to analyze data for sales increases. Coordinate local marketing initiatives, recruit and reward outstanding team members, and maintain restaurant safety, security, and cleanliness. Operate computerized Point of Sale systems, identify prospective guests, and plan special events and promotions. Ensure all local and national food safety codes are followed. Full-time, part-time, day, evening, and weekend shifts vary by location.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- College degree preferred
- A minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment
- Experience in supervising and training staff
- Must be an excellent communicator
- Ability to deal with all levels of team members
- Computer knowledge
- Ability to work any area of the restaurant as needed
- Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register
- Ability to bend, stand and walk the entire workday
- Ability to lift 10 pounds frequently
- Ability to lift up to 30 pounds occasionally
