Job Summary
Manager at Subway responsible for delivering an excellent guest experience and ensuring quality food service while maintaining clean, safe operations. Leads inventory and money-control processes, coordinates local marketing and community outreach, recruits and trains staff, enforces safety and security standards, analyzes business records to drive sales, and plans events/promotions. Requires strong communication, team leadership, and ability to work across multiple restaurant areas; familiarity with POS systems and physical requirements to lift up to 30 pounds. Role supports day-to-day management across full-time or part-time shifts and varies by location.
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Experience: minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment; experience supervising and training staff
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to operate computerized Point of Sale system/cash register
- Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds
- Ability to bend, stand, and walk for long periods
