Job Summary
Manager at Subway team responsible for delivering an excellent guest experience, ensuring quality food preparation and service, maintaining a clean and functional restaurant, overseeing inventory and money-control systems, coordinating local marketing initiatives, recruiting and training staff, enforcing safety and security protocols, and driving sales through standing-out teamwork and promotional events. Day-to-day duties include recruiting and rewarding outstanding team members, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, analyzing business records to increase sales, identifying prospective guests to promote sales, supporting local marketing initiatives, planning special events and promotions, and providing hands-on leadership in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years in a restaurant environment; experience in supervising and training staff
- Must be an excellent communicator; ability to deal with all levels of team members
- Computer knowledge is essential
- Physical: ability to operate a computerized POS system/cash register; ability to bend, stand, walk
- Must be able to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally
