Job Summary
Lead model audit engagements with a portfolio of active assignments, oversee arithmetically and commercially correct financial models, and drive continuous improvement of modelling methodologies. Responsibilities include leading model audit projects, developing project plans and resource allocation, preparing comprehensive documentation detailing assumptions and results, training and managing junior team members, communicating findings to clients and internal teams, contributing to business development and client pitches, and working in a flexible setup with a mix of office-based, remote, and client-site work. Requires strong Excel modelling skills, understanding of Project Finance concepts, and ability to simplify complex financial model issues for non-technical stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- 4-6 years of relevant experience in a financial modelling/financial advisory environment
- Degree qualified in a numerate discipline
- Postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance beneficial
- Experience building and operating financial models using Excel
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience with FAST financial modeling standard desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Appreciation of accounting concepts; accounting qualification beneficial
