Job Summary
Manage and lead a team of 15 to drive vendor performance improvements for Lowe's Purchase Orders and Advance Shipping Notices. Serve as the subject matter expert for Vendor Performance Management, liaising between Supply Chain, Inventory, Accounting, and Merchandising teams to resolve issues rapidly. Initiate improvement plans for critical suppliers and conduct change management to ensure long-term vendor and internal team optimization. Represent the team to leadership, presenting compliance reports and advising on business operations risks while working with IT to optimize vendor management systems.
Required Qualifications
- People Management experience of minimum 6 years
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or Inventory Management field
- Minimum of 5 years of vendor management experience
- 10+ years relevant experience
- OR Relevant work experience in retail merchandising, inventory planning, vendor performance management, assortment planning or forecasting roles for a total of 10 years' experience in lieu of education
- 3+ years of people leadership experience
- Strong people management skills and practices, including leading people leaders
- Proven experience with vendor management application, working with Tech and Engineering team on building product roadmaps
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills for managing diverse stakeholder relationships
- Experience in developing and implementing vendor performance metrics and reporting system
- Bachelor's degree – BBA, B.Com, Operations Research or Related Field
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred MBA or Master's degree in Supply Chain
- Lead a team of 10+, Leader of leader experience is a plus
- Advanced Excel
- Demonstrated project management abilities and organizational skills
- Excellence in data analysis and financial management, with strong cost control capabilities
