Job Summary
The Merchandising Manager will lead and coach a team of sales development representatives and/or merchandisers to achieve sales volume, distribution, and display objectives by planning, organizing, training, and executing merchandising initiatives. Responsibilities include maintaining strong communication with sales and key accounts, identifying opportunities, developing opening display plans, executing resets, managing territory coverage, resolving customer issues, and escalating when necessary. The role coordinates brand priorities for promotions with local supplier representatives, supports route planning and account pre-surveying, and conducts bi-monthly planning meetings to review performance and close gaps. Additional duties include setting monthly merchandising and SDR priorities with leadership, supervising team members, conducting performance evaluations and coaching, participating in candidate interviews and onboarding, and ensuring adherence to work rules while promoting safety around beverage alcohol products. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of management experience, strong MS Office and presentation skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while delivering results and exhibiting strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field and/or equivalent training and work experience
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in management
- Proficient PC skills using MS Office and other various computer programs including presentation software
- Ability to multi-task, work independently and/or within a team, pay attention to detail and meet deadlines
- Analytic and Reporting skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume, team environment
