Job Summary
Oversee all merchandising activities including product movement, price changes, signage, visual execution, event set-up, and reverse logistics to ensure stores are customer-ready. Lead communication and training of visual merchandising directives, strategize on pricing and visual presentation, and create stunning store displays using various resources. Manage inventory flow, placement, and stockroom organization while coaching the team on effective merchandising techniques. Interview, hire, train, and manage direct and indirect reports to meet performance and behavioral expectations. Work a flexible retail schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 3-5 years of management experience in retail
- Ability to lift at least 30 lbs
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
- Able to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Desired Qualifications
- Fashion and Merchandise Execution experience and knowledge
- Proficiency in leading the communication, execution, and training of visual merchandising directives
- Ability to strategize on pricing, signage, visual presentation, events, and overall merchandising
- Knowledge and support for fashion trends and Own Your Style initiatives
- Capability to document work effectively with photos
- Strong skills in communication, writing, and presenting ideas clearly and persuasively
- Competence in using Microsoft suite, computers, and handheld devices
