Job Summary
The Manager, Membership Development plays a key role in engaging with senior-level executives at small and mid-sized manufacturing companies to recruit them as members, aiming to meet annual revenue goals. Responsibilities include managing the prospect journey, strategizing membership recruitment through territory management, developing leads, conducting extensive research, performing network analysis, and executing email marketing campaigns. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 3-5 years in sales or account management. Familiarity with political and business policy issues is highly desirable, alongside effective presentation skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of experience in sales or account management with multi-decision maker deals
- Prior experience in for-profit membership, research program, advisory and/or professional services
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with the Challenger Sale methodology
- Background or strong interest in politics and business policy issues
- Prior political fundraising experience
- Effective and influential presentation skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule during high-volume work periods
