Job Summary
Oversee the operational management and administration of the Graduate Medical Education (GME) Department, including medical residency and fellowship programs. Supervise Medical Education staff, manage a $7 million operating budget, and ensure compliance with ACGME requirements and federal regulations. Direct accreditation activities, lead recruitment for assigned programs, and coordinate visa sponsorship processes for International Medical Graduates. Serve as a key advisor to program directors, faculty, and institutional leadership while driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role requires a day shift with 40 weekly hours and offers a competitive salary range of $33.63 to $50.45 per hour. Located in New York's Southern Tier, the position supports a locally owned, not-for-profit healthcare system committed to physician education and workforce development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in education, business, human services or other related field
- 5+ years training and/or equivalent training/experience
