Job Summary
Lead market development across the Phoenix metropolitan area by prospecting, networking, and building trusted relationships with business owners, C-suite executives, and investors. Develop referral partnerships with CPA firms, banks, private equity firms, and law firms to drive sustainable revenue growth. Conduct discovery conversations to qualify opportunities and connect prospects with Directors for scoping and proposals, while maintaining CRM records and pipeline forecasts. Plan and host networking events to strengthen visibility and collaborate with the Phoenix Market President and regional leadership team. Maintain momentum through the sales cycle and support smooth handoffs into service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of proven success in business development, relationship management, consultative sales, or advisory services
- An established professional network in the Phoenix metro area
- Strong knowledge of the local business community and its key organizations
- Demonstrated success building relationships with business owners and executive-level decision-makers
- Strong business acumen, financial literacy, and the ability to understand complex organizational needs
- Polished communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- A consultative approach that builds credibility quickly
- Highly organized and self-directed
- Consistent follow-up and pipeline management
- Comfortable with CRM platforms, LinkedIn, Microsoft Office, Teams, Zoom, and related technology
- Resilient and motivated through longer, relationship-based sales cycles
- Able to travel throughout the Phoenix area for meetings, events, and client interactions
Desired Qualifications

- Selling accounting, finance, consulting, advisory, or other high-value professional services

- Experience with a national or regional accounting, advisory, or consulting firm
- Bachelor's degree preferred
