Job Summary
Manufacturing Manager oversees plant production teams to achieve value-stream goals, applying Lean and continuous improvement to manufacturing processes. Responsibilities include developing and controlling manufacturing plans and budgets, forecasting requirements, coordinating purchasing and material control, ensuring safety, quality, and training, transferring products from concept to commercialization, and leading with the Value Stream leadership team. The role emphasizes staff development, coaching, and building a culture aligned with The Watlow Way (WW) and Watlow Business System (WBS) to drive operational excellence and achieve financial and Lean objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Lean leadership experience 7–10 years preferred
- Project management experience
- Leadership training
- Technical certification preferred
