Manager, Manufacturing Test Engineering

Lead a cross-functional team of manufacturing, mechanical, and electrical engineers responsible for factory acceptance testing of complex medical devices. Oversee manufacturing test operations to align with production schedules and product quality; develop and standardize Manufacturing Test Engineering processes (SOPs, workflows, communication protocols); establish and track KPIs to drive accountability and cross-functional alignment; drive continuous improvement to reduce cycle time and costs; collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Operations to support NPI, design transfer, and production readiness; ensure regulatory and quality compliance (FDA) through NC/CAPA closures; represent manufacturing test engineering in global portfolio management and strategic initiatives; provide engineering support to capital equipment production environments; standardize test strategies and tooling across global teams.
