Job Summary
Lead a multidisciplinary engineering team focused on machining, assembly, automation, and controls initiatives. Drive continuous improvement initiatives, lead manufacturing innovation, and partner across the organization to improve operational performance. Develop engineering talent, implement automation strategies, and support the continued growth of our manufacturing capabilities. Responsibilities include leading Manufacturing, Controls, Machining, and Assembly Engineers; driving safety, quality, productivity, delivery, and cost performance; championing robotics, PLC programming, vision systems, and digital manufacturing; collaborating with Operations and Product Engineering to improve manufacturability and support successful product launches; monitoring key operational and engineering metrics to drive performance; establishing engineering standards and roadmaps; managing capital equipment projects from concept to implementation; and leading process optimization and root cause investigations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field required
- Master's degree preferred
- 8+ years of manufacturing engineering experience within a machining, assembly, or industrial manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of engineering leadership or supervisory experience
- Proven success leading cross-functional teams and driving operational improvements
- Experience implementing Lean manufacturing, automation, and process improvement initiatives
- Experience managing capital equipment projects and budgets
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
