Job Summary
Build and nurture strong relationships with major giving donors and prospects to attract gifts in excess of $10,000. Actively develop a robust major gifts pipeline to secure larger contributions and drive increased revenue for the organization. Apply expertise in donor engagement and strategic cultivation to manage a diverse portfolio of supporters while keeping the patient perspective at the forefront of all actions. This role requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of not-for-profit fundraising experience, including one to three years managing a major gift portfolio. The position is based at Dignity Health - Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, California, a 208-bed acute care facility recognized as an LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality Leader and a Leapfrog Top General Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or a combination of education and/or additional job-related experience
- Minimum three (3) years of not-for-profit fundraising and development experience
- One (1) to three (3) years' direct work experience as fundraising professional with a major gift portfolio
