Job Summary
Maintenance Leader responsible for directing maintenance execution, planning, scheduling, and reliability initiatives at the Esterhazy site. Leads Maintenance Superintendents, drives preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to optimize asset availability and mechanical integrity. Oversees budgeting for maintenance and turnaround activities, develops turnaround calendars, and partners with Operations, Reliability, and site leadership to balance cost with asset health. Ensures robust MRO processes, data quality, and actionable maintenance plans, and collaborates across departments to improve reliability and safety while managing spend and long-term asset health.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or Mining)
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing, mining, chemical processing, or related industrial environments
- Experience in people leadership roles within operations or engineering functions
- Strong knowledge of potash milling, fertilizer production, or similar process industries
- Experience in managing maintenance performance in operations
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lead cross functional groups and influence at all levels
- Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and ability to manage competing priorities
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build trust, relationships, and alignment across departments
