Job Summary
Develop and update facility maintenance procedures while establishing preventive maintenance programs that adhere to safe, legal, and contractual limits. Authorize repairs and work orders with the General Manager, coordinate subcontracting needs, and manage inventory control for spare parts and tool programs. Supervise an efficient maintenance schedule, oversee exterior landscaping and snow removal, and lead hiring, performance evaluations, and training initiatives for facility personnel. Requires five years of plant maintenance experience, supervisory background, and 24/7 on-call flexibility.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous work experience
- Thorough understanding of all aspects of facility maintenance
- Good working knowledge of electrical
- Good working knowledge of carpentry
- Good working knowledge of welding
- Good working knowledge of plumbing
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Interpersonal skills necessary to supervise personnel
- Five (5) years of related plant maintenance experience or equivalent
- Five (5) years of related supervisory experience or equivalent
- Flexibility to be on call 24/7
- Ability to access the internet from home to work remotely
- Ability to work at heights
- Self-motivated

- Ability to work independently
- Forklift certification or ability to be trained
- First aid certification or ability to be trained
- Must be able to lift 30 pounds
