Job Summary
Oversee facility and equipment maintenance at Dollar Tree Distribution Center, supervising maintenance personnel and managing all preventive maintenance, work orders, and inventory to maximize uptime and safety. Directly supervise repairs, assign and audit work orders, assist with troubleshooting, manage PM scheduling via the Maintenance Connection system, and coordinate with vendors for quotes and technical information. Maintain accurate parts inventory, conduct quarterly counts, and collaborate with facility and HR leadership on performance management. Train and retrain associates based on audits, provide regular feedback through shift hand-offs and communications, and support administrative duties as needed to sustain operational efficiency and safety.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering preferred
- Minimum of three years maintenance and supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of preventive maintenance and safety best practices
- Leadership, administrative, organizational, managerial, and communication skills
- Analytical ability to gather, interpret, and develop solutions
- Skilled in blueprint reading
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- Ability to make rapid and thorough independent decisions and solve problems creatively
