Job Summary
Coordinate and supervise all aspects of property maintenance and repairs for a portfolio of single-family homes, including receiving, prioritizing, and tracking work orders via property management software. Manage relationships with third-party contractors, develop preventive maintenance schedules, and conduct regular inspections to ensure lease compliance and safety. Serve as the first point of contact for maintenance emergencies, coordinate after-hours repair responses, and lead in-house staff while managing maintenance budgets. Requires 5+ years of experience, on-call availability including nights and weekends, and proficiency in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of maintenance or facilities management experience
- at least 2 years in a supervisory role
- Residential property maintenance experience
- Strong working knowledge of HVAC
- Strong working knowledge of plumbing
- Strong working knowledge of electrical
- Strong working knowledge of carpentry
- Strong working knowledge of appliance repair
- Proficiency in property management or work order systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Availability for on-call duty on a rotational basis
- Availability for nights
- Availability for weekends
