Job Summary
Manage daily operations and production activities at the assigned power plant, directing work for operators and issuing economic dispatch instructions. Oversee safe and economical maintenance of equipment, coordinating mechanical, electrical, and I&C repair while developing the maintenance management program. Schedule materials and personnel for outages, manage the maintenance budget, and supervise contractors for on-site services. Ensure full compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards, including timely submission of all permit and compliance reports. Monitor and enforce a safe work environment, overseeing training certifications and tag-out procedures. On-call 24 hours/day 7 days/week to respond to potential power plant problems.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, degree from technical/vocational school or equivalent
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree
- Previous work leadership or senior level contributor experience
- Minimum of 5+ years of power generation experience in gas turbine power plant maintenance
- 3+ years of supervisory experience
- Intimate knowledge and experience with the repair and maintenance practices of heavy frame combustion turbine
- Valid state driver's license
