Job Summary
Manager, Main Operations Center (MOC) responsible for designing and implementing the operational framework of the central hub for LA28 Games, coordinating across 100+ sites, delivering information-sharing systems, developing decision matrices, and managing incidents during Games-time. Requires leading the layout, SOPs, trainings, and staffing for the MOC, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration, stakeholder alignment, and program execution. Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5+ years in major events or complex operations; onsite in Downtown LA; travel occasionally. Salary range $88,000-$115,000. No relocation assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and work experience is preferred
- Minimum of 5+ years in major events or complex operational environments
- Experience building operational centers or facilities
- Demonstrated experience engaging broad stakeholder groups and achieving cross-functional alignment
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results within tight timelines
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, organizational and prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
