Job Summary
Manager, League Strategy at MLB drives cross-functional strategic advisory, analytical leadership, and innovation across the Office of the Commissioner. Key focus areas include GenAI adoption, defining roadmaps, evaluating build-vs-buy decisions, and aligning technical capabilities with long-term business goals. Requires collaboration across departments, strong quantitative analysis, executive-level presentations, and a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders. Must be willing to work in-office at MLB’s New York, NY office; salary range $105,000–$130,000 plus bonus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 6+ years of professional experience in management consulting, internal corporate strategy, or a strategic role
- Experience in Sports, Media & Entertainment; exposure to Digital Media, Product Management, Social Media, Sponsorship, and Generative AI preferred
- Proven track record of working with Generative AI tools and identifying business applications
