Manager, Laboratory - Day Shift, Full-Time

Manage the day-to-day operations of the clinical laboratory, including overseeing staff, equipment, and supplies while ensuring compliance with federal regulations and accrediting agency standards. Develop and monitor quality assurance programs, interpret test results, and coordinate technical reports reflecting departmental volume and trends. Oversee financial aspects by preparing budgets, investigating variances, and ensuring proper billing and coding protocols are followed. Supervise senior laboratory assistants and laboratory assistants, assigning staff to patients based on skills and acuity, while handling evaluations, promotions, and disciplinary actions.
