Manager, Laboratory - Day Shift, Full-Time

Manage day-to-day operations of the clinical laboratory, including Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, and Blood Bank, while maintaining first-line accountability for outcomes. Develop and monitor financial, regulatory, and accreditation policies; oversee Quality Assurance programs, equipment maintenance, and specimen processing. Supervise staff assignments, conduct performance evaluations, and coordinate hiring, compensation, and disciplinary actions. Prepare technical reports, analyze trends, and recommend cost-containment strategies. Interpret accrediting agency standards, initiate corrective actions, and ensure compliance with federal regulations. Oversee capital and operational budgets, manage billing protocols, and collaborate with regional specialists on technical procedures.
