Manager, Laboratory - Day Shift, Full-Time

Manage day-to-day operations of the clinical laboratory, including Hematology, Chemistry, Microbiology, and Blood Bank sections, while supervising senior laboratory assistants and phlebotomists. Develop and monitor Quality Assurance programs, ensure compliance with federal regulations, and oversee financial aspects such as budgeting, billing, and CPT coding. Coordinate staff assignments based on patient acuity, prepare technical reports on test results and adverse trends, and initiate corrective actions for accreditation deficiencies. Lead workshops, evaluate staff performance for promotions or disciplinary action, and collaborate with regional technical specialists to interpret accrediting agency standards.
