Job Summary
Manager - Java responsible for developing APIs using Java and Spring Boot; engages in stakeholder management to grow the client, collaborates with engineers to define data engineering best practices and SDLC standards, and works from a client location. The role requires strong communication skills, ability to multi-task under pressure, ownership of problem resolution, and a proactive, collaborative mindset. Preferred skills include enterprise UI development with React, HTML/CSS, containerization with Kubernetes, and cloud experience (AWS/Azure/GCP). The position is based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India and is full-time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or a related discipline; or equivalent (minimum 10+ years overall work experience)
- Experience in Developing API’s using Java Language and Spring Boot framework
- Willing to work from client location on all days of the week
- Flexible and proactive/self-motivated working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution
- Excellent communicator (written and verbal formal and informal)
- Ability to multi-task under pressure and work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be a team player and enjoy working in a cooperative and collaborative team environment
- Experience working with other engineers in defining data engineering best practices and leveraging software development life cycle best practices such as agile methodologies, coding standards, code reviews, source management, build processes, testing, and operations
