Manager IT Production Operations

Job Summary
Lead and manage the 24/7 production operations team, ensuring continuous monitoring of infrastructure, applications, data pipelines, and file transfer processes. Own enterprise workload automation and managed file transfer platforms, optimizing batch execution and end-to-end file movement for critical business cycles. Act as the operational domain lead during production incidents, executing runbooks and coordinating escalations to L2/L3 teams and vendors. Ensure production readiness for releases by validating monitoring, runbooks, and operational support models prior to deployment. Provide operational oversight of enterprise Data Centre environments, coordinating infrastructure changes and vendor engagements. Establish operational standards for alert response, shift coverage, and on-call support while driving continuous improvement initiatives across operations and compliance activities.
Required Qualifications
- Current work authorization for Canada
- Full-time regular role availability
- Minimum 5+ years of management experience
- Hands-on experience with workload automation and batch processing platforms
- Experience operating Managed File Transfer platforms in enterprise or regulated environments
- Strong understanding of secure data transfer protocols and best practice
- Experience participating in incident response and operational recovery
- Strong communication and leadership skills in high-pressure environments
