Job Summary
Manager, iT Design & Openings APAC leads IT infrastructure design documentation and governance for new builds/conversions/acquisitions, oversees vendor management and cost modeling, ensures brand-standard compliance, coordinates procurement for Marriott pre-opening activities, and facilitates handover to IT Operations. Responsible for defining Acquisition and Conversion scope/cost reports and managing pre-opening hiring of IT associates. Reports to Senior Director iT, Construction, Conversions & Openings APAC, with collaboration from Global Design Consultants and regional project teams. Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of project management experience plus 3 years in an associate supervisory role, with cross-cultural experience in APAC; based in Tokyo, Japan.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 3 years’ project management experience
- 3 years in an Associate Supervisory role
- 3 years’ experience working with people of different cultures and values in Asia Pacific
