Job Summary
Manager Integrated System Planning Portfolio role leads delivery of a portfolio of analytic solutions and enterprise-wide, high-profile projects spanning multiple organizations. The role develops overall program strategy, orchestrates project planning and resourcing, and delivers insights and enhancements on time and within budget. Responsibilities include coordinating a team of planning owners and project managers, managing vendors, forecasting and financial management for the portfolio, monitoring status for executives, and ensuring repeatable processes for sequencing and integration of large programs. Requires strong leadership, knowledge of waterfall and agile methodologies, and experience with planning, analytics, budgeting, and stakeholder management within a utility or large enterprise context. The position may require working with senior leaders and coordinating across multiple organizations to drive successful execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Engineering or related field
- 10+ years of complex, enterprise-wide forecasting and integrated capacity and/or supply chain expansion planning management experience
- 5-7 years of leadership experience across analytics, planning, IT and business functions
- Experience with project cost management and resource capacity planning
- Experience in indirect management of team members, including development, training and assignment of work
- Knowledge of project management best practices including waterfall, agile and SDLC methodologies and tools
- Strong leadership skills and ability to work with diverse project teams including planning and business components
- Proven ability to engage and develop relationships with executive sponsors and key stakeholders
- Strong business process analysis and business process mapping skills
- Experience in utility planning domains (Generation, Load, Transmission & Gas) and agile delivery approaches
- Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) – PMI (preferred)
