Job Summary

Lead inventory management across SSA markets, including valuation, write-offs, stock aging, and obsolescence analysis. Drive Days Inventory on Hand glidepath tracking and actuals analysis while overseeing imported finished goods cost of goods sold queries. Provide financial oversight of inbound, outbound, and warehouse costs, validating savings projects and monitoring overhead to ensure cost efficiency. Manage month-end close processes for RSA, ROA, and WA markets, delivering YTD analysis and monthly forecasting across the region. Reconcile monthly balance sheet accounts for finished goods inventory and freight accruals while supporting internal and external audit requirements. Collaborate with supply chain, commercial, and regional teams to optimize cost structures and support strategic growth in the Sub Saharan Africa business unit.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related field
8+ years of progressive finance experience
At least 3 years in supply chain or logistics finance
Proven experience in SSA markets
Understanding of regional logistics and regulatory frameworks
Advanced proficiency in financial systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar)
Advanced proficiency in Excel
Excellent communication skills
Stakeholder management skills
Analytical skills
Strategic thinker with operational agility
Collaborative leader with a proactive mindset
