Manager, IoT Connectivity and Operations

Job Summary
Build and lead a high-performing team responsible for IoT connectivity solutions, gateway management, and connectivity operations. Define and drive the connectivity strategy across Xylem's Water Infrastructure digital solutions, ensuring scalable and standardized approaches. Own gateway requirements, manage telecommunications provider relationships including SIM lifecycle, and oversee fleet management of connected devices. Lead cloud-based connectivity services to ensure security, scalability, and performance while partnering with Product, R&D, and Engineering teams. Drive continuous improvement by evaluating emerging technologies to enhance efficiency and customer value.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven leadership experience in IoT connectivity, telecommunications, device management, or cloud operations
- Strong understanding of cellular connectivity technologies and industrial IoT environments
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or similar
- Knowledge of industrial communication protocols and remote access solutions
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence across technical and business functions
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices for connected products and IoT ecosystems
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing global connectivity deployments and telecom provider relationships
- Background in device fleet management and large-scale IoT operations
- Familiarity with edge computing and connected industrial equipment
- Experience building and scaling teams in a growing technology organization
