Job Summary
Prepare high-quality investor communications, including quarterly earnings materials, press releases, and presentation scripts, to articulate the Company's operational performance and growth strategy. Coordinate investor events, roadshows, and conferences while managing logistics and briefing executives for meetings with analysts. Analyze financial and operational data to develop compelling messaging and monitor market trends and peer activity. Partner with Finance, Operations, and Legal teams to validate information and ensure continuous disclosure documents meet regulatory requirements. Maintain and update investor presentations, fact sheets, and website content to reflect current performance. This fixed-term contract provides maternity leave coverage in Toronto with occasional travel to industry events in Canada and the US.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Commerce, Communications or a related discipline
- 5+ years of progressively responsible Investor Relations, Corporate Communications, Equity Research, Capital Markets or related experience
- Experience supporting a publicly traded company
- Strong understanding of financial statements and capital markets
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with senior executives and cross-functional teams
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint, Excel and Word
- Experience in preparing investor presentations, earnings materials and executive communications
- Experience drafting high-quality written communications, including press releases, presentations and external messaging
- Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to interpret operational and financial results
- Experience coordinating disclosure materials and supporting quarterly reporting cycles
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong planning, prioritization and execution skills
- 12–18 month fixed-term contract to provide maternity leave coverage
- Hybrid work arrangement is based in Toronto
- Occasional travel required to investor conferences and industry events, including conferences in Canada and the United States
- The successful candidate is expected to join as soon as possible to allow for knowledge transfer and transition with the current incumbent before the leave begins
Desired Qualifications
- Investor Relations experience within the mining industry
- Familiarity with NI 43-101 terminology and mining disclosure
- Experience working with institutional investors and sell-side analysts
- Experience supporting investor conferences and roadshows
