Job Summary
Perform financial analysis to support the investment process through company- and asset-specific modeling, including the building and maintenance of drug forecasts, operating company models, and royalty monetization and structured investment models. Support the due diligence process by conducting primary research and secondary research through interviews with physician key opinion leaders and consultants and evaluation and review of clinical data, commercial planning materials, competitive landscapes, and other technical diligence areas. Coordinate with relevant cross-functional internal teams as needed to support transaction execution, prepare high-quality presentation materials including investment presentations and opportunity assessments, and manage the investment pipeline to ensure updated record keeping and status tracking. Monitor the broader competitive landscape, including deal activity and emerging trends, with regular communications to the Investment team. Take on additional project-based responsibilities as directed to support the growth and effectiveness of the company's investment function.
Required Qualifications
- 2 - 5 years of work experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, corporate development, or a comparable role within the life sciences industry with demonstrated deal or project-based accomplishments
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a life science field required with a track record of strong academic performance
- This role will be located in New York, USA and is remote
- Adherence to the highest levels of integrity
